DRIVING THEORY TEST
Preparing for your driving test
A driving theory test checks your knowledge of driving laws, road rules, and safe driving, as well as your ability to spot dangers while driving. It includes multiple-choice questions and hazard perception videos, where you identify road hazards. The goal is to ensure drivers understand and follow safe and legal driving practices. You need to pass this test before taking the practical driving test to get a full driver's license. Studying and preparing for the test can help you pass and become a safe driver.
The test will be divided into two parts. First, you'll need to tackle the multiple-choice questions before moving on to the hazard perception test.
Before beginning, you have the option to participate in a 15-minute practice. Following that, you'll have 57 minutes on the multiple-choice section. Afterward, there will be a three-minute break, followed by the hazard perception test, which is expected to take about 20 minutes, including the introduction video.
